House PLANS

Floor Plans:  Are graphical representations of a building's layout, displaying a bird's-eye view of each floor as if it were seen from directly above. These plans are typically drawn to scale and illustrate the arrangement of rooms, walls, doors, and windows within a single level of a house. Unlike 3D models, which provide a three-dimensional perspective, 2D floor plans focus on dimensions and spatial relationships, offering a clear and concise overview of the architectural layout. They serve as essential tools for architects, designers, and homeowners, aiding in space planning, interior design, and overall visualisation of the structural design of a building.

 

Elevations:  Showcase the vertical views of a building's exterior, illustrating how it would appear when viewed from various sides. These drawings provide a flat representation of the building's facades, emphasising details such as the placement of windows, doors, and architectural features. Unlike perspective drawings or 3D models, elevations focus on the vertical dimension and offer a straightforward, scaled depiction of the building's exterior design. Architects, builders, and designers use elevations to communicate and understand the visual aesthetics and proportions of a structure, aiding in the planning and execution of construction projects. 

 

Sections: Offer a detailed view of its internal structure. Similar to a "slice" through the structure, these drawings provide a clear representation of how the interior elements, such as walls, floors, and ceilings, are arranged. Sections are crucial for understanding the vertical composition of a building and how different components interact.

 

Site plan/location plans: Provide an overhead view of a property or land parcel, illustrating the layout of buildings, landscape features, and other elements. This plan typically includes details such as property boundaries, building footprints, driveways, walkways, landscaping, and other site-specific features.

 

Land Registry Plans:  Are accurate measurements of boundaries, and legal details related to the property. It serves as a formal document used to establish ownership and provide a clear depiction of the property's dimensions and features. Land registry plans play a crucial role in legal transactions, property conveyancing, and ensuring the accuracy of property records.
